Meet the Cunningham’s
We would love for you to join our tribe and journey with us as we follow Christ.
There are six of us and we lead a fairly normal life. Our family is all about traveling and exploring. But when we’re at home our focus is on serving. We volunteer at a lot of different places and make it a point to do it as a family. This allows us to grow closer together but also to teach the kids as Christ teaches us.
Beautiful Feet Ministries is one of our favorite places to serve. They allow us so many great teaching opportunities for our kids. Nursing homes are also a great place for us to go as the resident readily take in the children for hugs and chats. Serving is important to us as well as setting priorities in life.
On top of all that we home school as a way to instill our values into our children while they are still young. This also allows us the flexibility and the freedom to travel when we want and serve in ways that may other wise be missed.
We love to host tea parties, it’s where we invite one of the senior adults from our church to come and spend the afternoon with us. Inter-generational relationships are so valuable and something we miss out on in this generation. We love learning from them and getting to know each new friend we have over.
We started this blog to equip, encourage and inspire others to live a more meaningful life. A life with purpose and direction. To serve and to set priorities so that life doesn’t just happen, it is what you dream it to be.
Wikipedia defines tribe as: a group of distinct people, dependent on their land for their livelihood, who are largely self-sufficient, and not integrated into the national society.
This is our hope, to be a distinct people, dependent on our God for our livelihood, and sustained by him, and to be in the world but not of the world.
